Trinity United Methodist Church
307 Trinity Street - Fairmont, North Carolina 28340

When are your worship times?
We meet on Sunday at 11:00AM for our main weekly worship service.
We also have a Midweek Worship/Bible Study at 6:30PM on Wednesdays in the fellowship hall.
Following the Wednesday night service we have a time of refreshments and fellowship.

Do you have Sunday School for children and adults?
Yes, we do have Sunday School classes for all ages beginning at 9:30AM with refreshments in the fellowship hall and then classes begin at 9:45AM.

Can my children come with me to worship?
Absolutely!  We offer a nursery for smaller children but we encouarge parents to begin as early as they would like in making worship at Trinity family inclusive.
Will I be made to stand up, or introduce myself, or be singled out in any way?
Trinity is a warm and inviting congregation, and hopefully you'll meet many new friends from the minute you walk through the front door.  You will not be asked to stand up or introduce yourself.  We have tear off visitor cards connected to our Sunday bulletins and we would love to have a record of your visit.  However, that choice is yours to make and we want your visit with us to be as friendly and possitive as possible.

Is there a "dress code" at Trinity?
We don't have a dress code and want to promote a respectful come-as-you-like policy. You'll might find some in t-shirts, jeans, even summer shorts alongside others in a suits or dresses. We think Jesus cares far more that you're there as his guest, than how you're dressed!  We just ask that everyone is considerate of others and dress modestly.

Do you celebrate Communion?
We celebrate Communion every third Sunday as a part of meaningful worship and on special occassions.

May I participate in Communion if I am not a member - or even a United Methodist?
We practice open Communion at Trinity and welcome you to participate.  For us Communion is a "means of grace" and we invite you to join us in being recipients of God's love and grace.

What is the best way to get involved at Trinity?
It is our desire that every member be involved in small group fellowship, which we call Home Teams? They meet regularly to provide study, prayer support, and social interaction. Service to the community is birthed out of our Home Teams.

Do you have the capability to receive gifts electronically?
Not at the present time but we do receive an offering each Sunday morning as a part of our worship.  You may make donations to the church during that worship services or by mail.  We strongly believe in the biblical principle of tithing and the giving of offerings.  However, that is a personal part of one's worship and dedication to the Lord.  That information is between you and the Lord.  Our accountant and treasurer do offer at the end of each year a receipt of contributions.
