Mrs. Wendy Doeller, Director of Music Ministry

Mrs. Wendy Doeller serves as our Director of Music Ministry.  She was born in Ithaca, NY on June 23, 1981.  She grew up in Lansing, NY until she graduated High School.  Wendy studied Music Education at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY, with flute being her major instrument.  Upon graduating college, she married Jonah Doeller and moved to Batavia, NY, where they both worked as substitute teachers.  After a year of substitute teaching, Wendy and Jonah moved to Lumberton, NC.  She taught General Music and Chorus at Littlefield Middle School for 2 years.  In 2006, the Doellers moved to Fairmont and began attending Trinity United Methodist Church.  Wendy has enjoyed being involved in the music at Trinity from the time she began attending.  Wendy and her husband, Jonah, have two daughters.  Their oldest, Aubrey, was born in March of 2007 and their youngest, Nadia, was born in September of 2010.  She is a very gifted musician and desires to see the Lord lifted up in worship!

The music ministry at Trinity offers a variety of opportunities for you to praise the Lord through instrumental or vocal music. Regardless of your age or musical background, the Music Ministry has something to offer you. Here are just some of the areas that we invite you to consider making a part of your worship experience at Trinity United Methodist Church.

TRINITY SANCTUARY CHOIR

Ages: High School – Adult
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the choir room.

The TRINITY SANCTUARY CHOIR sings during the 11:00 Sunday Worship Service and performs a variety of choral music from the Classics to Southern Gospel and Contemporary Christian. The choir also performs larger works including a Christmas Cantata and a Lent/Easter Cantata.

THE TRINITY RINGERS (Hand Bell Choir)

Ages: High School – Adults
Rehearsals: Sundays, 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM in the sanctuary.

Our 5-octave hand bell choir, THE TRINITY RINGERS is a great outlet for those who love music and have a certain level of music reading ability. Since openings are limited, contact the Minister of Music if you are interested in ringing.

THE TRINITY SINGING MEN

Open to all men.

Rehearsals are announced and usually fall on Wednesday nights in the choir room.

THE TRINITY HALLELUJAH CHOIR (Children's Choir)

For grades K-6th.

Rehearsals: Sundays, 5:15PM in the choir room.

Music is a very important part of Trinity United Methodist Church's spiritual expression. All are invited and encouraged to offer their talents in worship to praise God through music.
