Confirmation is not the beginning or the end of the faith journey. Confirmation is about making disciples. It is that simple and that challenging.

Credo (Greek meaning “I Believe”) is a confirmation program that is not your conventional classroom experience! It brings worship, Sunday school, Bible study, service, and church ministries into confirmation.

WHO:  The appropriate age for youth to enter Confirmation Class is 12.  However, younger students are permitted to sit in and audit the class with a parent present.  Also, any adult who would like to go through the class are welcome to audit the class.

WHERE:  The Confirmation Classes are held in the Fellowship Hall.

Requirements to successfully complete the Confirmation Experience:

1)  Attend all 11:00AM Sunday worship services during the Confirmation Experience.

2)  Attend and participate in all Confirmation Classes.

3)  Complete all reading, homework and service work assignments.

4)  Attend Confirmation Retreat.

5)  Recite from memory the traditional version of the "Apostle's Creed."

5)  Weekly meet with Mentor during the Confirmation Experience.

6)  Be present at the Confirmation Service.

Materials Needed:

Bible  (KJV, NKJV, NIV or other pastor approved version)

Credo Confirmation Journal (for Confirmands)

Credo Guide (for Parents, Mentors, and Adult Leaders)

NOTE:  At home it is highly suggested that you have a Bible dictionary, Bible handbook and Biblical concordance available.
