Thank you for taking the time to discover more about us!  If you are new to the Town of Fairmont, Robeson County or just would like to learn more about Trinity United Methodist Church, we hope this website will introduce you to the many wonderful things our church has to offer to individuals, families and the community.  We extend to you and invitation to join us in worship soon! 

We see Christianity as a journey and as an experience that is best done in an authentic Christ centered community. 

We are a community of family and friends investigating what it means to have a personal saving relationship with God, through His Son, Jesus Christ.  Some of us are new to the faith and some of us have been around for a long time.  Together, we are on a journey to live and share the Gospel story.  In doing so we have found hope, joy and a sense of closeness as we sojourn together towards Christ.

We have Sunday School at 9:45AM for all ages and our Sunday Worship Service is at 11:00AM.  The worship style at Trinity UMC is primarily a Traditional/Blended service for all ages including a variety of musical styles and performers based on the traditional liturgy (including a call to worship, lectionary readings, hymns, special music, handbell choir, children and adult choirs, apostle's creed and expository preaching).  Nursery care is provided.

To help enrich your church experience, worship bulletins and monthly calendars are available from the greeters and ushers.

We think there are several things Trinity UMC does exceptionally well. One is our Music Ministry.  The quality of music at our church is important to us. The music we enjoy each week, and at special performances, very much enhances the worship experience and makes our time together so enjoyable.

Another quality many of our members and guests mention is that Trinity UMC is a friendly church. It's not just the "greeters" who make you feel welcome. You will almost always find that people sitting near you will notice that you are new and will make a special point to greet you. They don't do this because they have to, but because they want to and are genuinely interested. You won't leave Trinity UMC feeling that no one noticed you or cared. It's a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Once you're a regular guest or member, you'll also find many opportunities to get to know others in fellowship groups.

Another part of Trinity UMC that we feel is done well is our Fisher House ministry.  This is a place where we house mission teams that come from all over to give of their time and talents to help those less fortunate in Robeson County.  We are proud partners with our local Robeson County Church and Community Center. 

Although there are many other positive aspects to our church, we feel that those probably best represent our mission statement of musical worship, fellowship and outreach missions.
